It's a pretty well kept up hotel. Just north of downtown proper, it's a nice departure from the crazy that it can be down there in the summer months.
The rooms are very comfortable and quiet and the grounds are well kept. They even have flamingos.
The main dining area which is indoor outdoor, is good! The food was well proportioned and the service was excellent.

Hands-down my favorite Marriott Resort in the US! Location is amazing, right on San Diego bay looking back at the city lights, with plenty of boating activity. Generous pool, outdoor fire pits, even private cabana rooms with picturesque duck ponds. Great food, activities and Coronado beach close by, you’ll look for ways to extend your stay a few more days!

Hands-down my favorite Marriott Resort in the US! Location is amazing, right on San Diego bay looking back at the city lights, with plenty of boating activity. Generous pool, outdoor fire pits, even private cabana rooms with picturesque duck ponds. Great food, activities and Coronado beach close by, you’ll look for ways to extend your stay a few more days!

Overall pretty disappointed. The price posted doesn’t include a $40 a day resort fee… just post the price accurately from the start. The room was really not up to par for the price. Bathtub cracked, lampshade with a huge stain on it. Dust build up on furniture. Location was great and staff tried their best but often had to call and request towels, toilet paper, etc and it would take awhile to receive. The entire pool area and much of the view is under construction so you are staring at a billboard like fence. Save your money and find somewhere else in the good location.

Horrible hotel. Standard rooms are very old and dated. They also have a funny smell when entering. The bathroom has dirt in the bathtub. The sheets had sand in the bed when I pulled back the covers. The cloth furniture had loose thread on all sides coming apart. The bathroom wallpaper was falling apart. Do not pay 400 dollars per night for this non standard Marriott Resort Accommodations. Go to Hotel De Coronado for better accommodations. The best thing about this hotel is the bay view and location.

Very clean facilities with its own Starbucks. Rooms are modern/updated. A bit costly for self parking. Ocean View is a bay view of San Diego and Port, not the beautiful sand beaches and waves found on other side of island.
