Lots to explore and take your time to browse through. This museum could take half a day to walk through. There is so much crammed into this space that sometimes it can be hard to keep track of where the next chronological exhibit is. There is a lot of awesome material, interesting information, and interactive exhibits that allow you to engage with how certain devices work. That being said, a huge portion of the exhibit is not for touching so be mindful of the signage. It’s a great experience to see how far we’ve come from the number counting of the past to the computing electronics of the recent past and how quickly obsolete our tech becomes from just a decade before. Free parking in their lot is ample and the atmosphere is generally very quiet and calm. Gift shop has some fun souvenirs too.

Absolutely worth the cost of admission! The exhibit halls are extensive with beautiful specimens of technology accompanied by informative signage. The guided tour is fascinating and led by a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. The demonstration labs were like stepping into history!

Not sure this is interesting for young children.
I came with 5 and 8 year olds.
The 5 year old was frankly a bit bored.
The 8 year old was more interested, but but not a lot.
There are a few interactive places there for kids, but a lot of it is just old computers that you can't touch.
Otherwise, for grownups and people who are interested in the history of computers this place is amazing. So much information and so many different computers from all times. A must see for people who like this kind of stuff.

Huge and Awesome Museum, definitely people need to come here if they visit silicon valley. Plenty parking lots, but never leave ur belongings inside the car. The entrance ticket is affordable, u can get $3 discount if u are a student.
The museum is divided into the revolution, the learning lab, software lab, and the demo.
I would say u need to spend at least 3 hours in the museum to explore all of the places.
Really recommend to join the IBM 1401 Demo so u can get a print card with ur name.
In the revolution, go to the gaming part to play the game.
The place is so clean and beautiful. Plenty toilets and tap waters.

The CHM is definitely worth a visit if you’re visiting Silicon Valley. It’s close to the Google Visitor Center, 2 Block away. I recommend taking a guided tour. It‘s without any extra charge. You need to buy a ticket for general admission. The guide shared fascinating stories about the companies founded in Silicon Valley and the evolution of computers. The tour started at 2 PM, but I believe there was another time slot available as well.
