I loved my stay at Beach Retreat - my room was spotless, I had an incredible view of the lake, and the team was friendly. The restaurant on the pier was also lovely. The location was ideal - central to everything I wanted to do/see with a convenient grocery store across the street and a CVS next door. Highly recommend for a stay in Lake Tahoe… I can’t wait to come back!

We loved our stay here and think we found a bit of a gem! Its super cute that they offer you a s’mores kit at reception that you can make over the fire that is just outside the lobby area by the pool. The room was really clean, bed was comfy, and there was even a little propane fireplace which made it feel extra cozy. The location is amazing. The property backs onto Lake Tahoe which is really nice and they have a pool and hot tub that are well maintained and clean. We enjoyed the hot tub every night! We visited in the winter so I am sure summer is different here but if you are planning a trip to South Lake Tahoe we would recommend this hotel!

I met with Chelsea today for a wedding tour, and was very impressed with her expertise and the beauty of the venue! You can host your ceremony right on the beach of Lake Tahoe (with million dollar views) and even do a boat send off from the Pier. The outdoor venue was gorgeous, but I also loved how they had an indoor option as well. They're more full service (meaning they provide tables, chairs, linens, dinnerware, service staff, etc) which is especially convenient if you're planning an out of town wedding. I highly suggest checking out the Beach Retreat & Lodge, thank you Chelsea!

A beautiful lodge by the lake. Spend a week here 2 summers ago and even though I didn't swim, the pool never seemed to be too crowded. Was here for a family reunion and the rooms were cute. My only problem was there was a spider in our shower but that's just one spider. Overall, an amazing experience! The photo attached is of the view of the lake during sunset.

We stayed recently over the Thanksgiving weekend and were very satisfied. Were able to check in early with Liz and she was super welcoming and helpful to us. Thanks Liz. Room is clean and cozy with propane fireplace to keep you warm all night. Great location lakeside with private beach and lakefront restaurant. Hotel also has heated pool and hot tub. Over all a great place to stay with lots of nearby restaurants and activities. Highly recommended.
