Visited this farm while staying at Harrah casino. Something to do in the area seeing kids feeding chickens, enjoying the animals. The store filled with nuts, souvenirs, boutiques, teas, and more. Love it!

Bates Nut Farm in Fallbrook is a quaint little spot that’s perfect for a relaxed afternoon. It’s on the smaller side but has a nice area with picnic benches where you can sit and enjoy the scenery. The only animal interaction is feeding them, so don’t expect a full petting zoo experience, but the kids still love it.
The real star is the country store, packed with all kinds of snacks, nuts, and sweet treats that make it hard to leave empty handed. It’s a great place to stop by if you want a low key outing with some fresh air, a few friendly animals, and a stash of delicious goodies to take home.

Always a great time at Bates! Really enjoyed feeding the ducks and chickens at the petting zoo. The goats love a good neck scratch as well! But the real fun is the country store and all the goodies. Grab lots of fudge! Also a great spot for family pics!

Had a great day here. Really enjoyed the car show and craft fair. We got a big box of snacks from the gift shop for our road trip. They have an amazing variety of treats! Highly recommend the pulled pork sandwich from the smoke shack. Just make sure you're really hungry because it's huge! The animals get filled up quick so be sure to go early in the day if you want to feed them.

A great working farm with animals and year round activities. We always go in October when they have a giant and regular pumpkin patch plus white, blue, fairytale and various decorative gords. They have tractor rides, corn maze, pony rides, face painting, food vendors and their famous shop with preserves, nuts, dried fruit, fudge and candy. It's a lot of fun and an annual tradition for many families. Arrive early for less crowds.
