Jan 5, 2025 We stopped at the Barrel House Tavern during a Muir Woods/Sausalito Tour. We had limited time (about 45 minutes) and weren’t sure if we should eat lunch there. The hostess and server assured us that we had plenty of time. We ordered the Cheesy Garlic Bread, Wild Mushroom Ravioli and the Grilled Pacific King Salmon. The food was excellent, the view was magnificent, and the service was great. We were able to eat and enjoy the view with time to spare.

Dec 3, 2024 The Barrel House Tavern offers a dining experience that seamlessly combines stunning views of the bay with a relaxed, inviting ambiance. During our lunch visit, the service was prompt and professional, setting a welcoming tone for the meal.
We began with the Blackberry Smash, a refreshing and well-balanced cocktail. For starters, we shared three appetizers: the crisp and flavorful Gem Caesar Salad, the perfectly seared Dungeness Crab Cakes, and the bold, savory Korean-style BBQ Chicken Wings. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented.
For our main course, we chose the Wild Pacific Salmon, served atop a bed of delicate couscous. The salmon was expertly cooked, complementing the dish's light and flavorful profile.
Every bite was delightful, and the attentive service enhanced the overall experience. We look forward to returning for another memorable meal.

Sep 27, 2024 Great atmosphere and even better food. We stopped in about 7:30 and easily got a spot. The staff is friendly and efficient which made it a fantastic experience. We had the Chilean Sea Bass and the ribs, and both were delicious. If you’re in Sausalito, give them a try!

Jul 23, 2024 Great vibe with really strong drinks. They have a good happy your menu (shown below) with a variety of small bites. We went here before our dinner reservation and it was the perfect place for a light snack. I'd definitely like to come back for their actual dinner courses.
