Easy 5 star! My wife’s family has been coming here for almost 20 years and I’ve been twice now. The rooms are clean, spacious and just a hop and a skip away from the hotel pool. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Housekeeping does a thorough cleaning job — replacing towels, making beds, and even dusting all surfaces. They offer free games like corn hole, ping pong and life-sized checkers. Outdoor lounge seating with gas fireplaces are also available. This place is SO close to the beach, so you can take a dip in the ocean and be back to the hot tub to warm up 3 minutes later! They offer nightly free cookies for guests in the lobby. The complementary breakfast was above-average, offering ham & cheese croissants, potatoes, meat, and much more. If you’re coming to Avila, this is the place to stay!
My only complaints are 1) towels were scarce by the pool, and 2) you have to pay $15/night for parking in their garage if you don’t want to park on the street. But, the pros FAR outweigh the cons!

Location is great. Right next to the beach and the shops. Got the room with pool view but you can’t really see the pool because of its walls. Just say “no view.” Best to get 2nd floor with beach view. Free e-bikes are convenient.

Great place for family vacation. Room sizes are optimal for a family of 4. Nice ⛱️/ocean facing rooms. Plenty of parking spots with 2 EV charging stations. Got a chance to see high tide from the balcony of our room.

Wonderful little gem by the ocean! Comfy and clean, well-maintained. If you like sleeping in, bring eye masks because they don’t use darkening curtains and the light is very bright in the morning! Also I was disappointed to learn they don’t recycle at all at the hotel- not even cans/bottles :(

The room was next to the mini golf so there was quite a bit of noise from kids playing. This made the balcony less enjoyable. There was a squeak in the hvac that kept us awake. The room was very nice and a beautiful view.
