We walked in without a reservation on a weekday. There is seating both outside and inside. They have a restaurant where you can have snacks or lunch. Shelley served us 5 wines from the pearl collection. I liked the 2019 whole cluster Syrah which featured a deep color and leathery palate. These wines are quite dry and have higher ABV. The 2020 Malbec is already good but could lay down for another year or two. They have several wine club choices. This is a large Winery with nice facilities.

Lovely tasting room with a good steak sandwich and surprisingly tasty reds. $10 tasting flight was a nice intro to both their red and white wines.
Definitely saving this as a good stop between SF and Santa Barbara that is off the beaten trail!
Super friendly service that took great care of our every need - especially accommodating of our 6-month old!

Stopped without a reservation and was not a problem. Received a free tasting for two. Tasted their Pearl Collection. Glad we stopped by. They let us taste some of the biggest reds from a Sirah to a huge petite sirah. The Petite Sirah was high on ABV but could lay down and have with a steak. Prices were on the high side but then again the wines were big. I recommend a visit and plan on eating either before of after the tasting. Staff was extremely friendly and informative.

We've been drinking Ancient Peaks wine for about five years, maybe longer. When we lived in Minnesota we had went to wine seminar where the guest speaker was the Wine Maker from Ancient Peaks. We were hooked.
We visited in 2018 to see the winery. My husband and one of our friends also did the Zipline at Margarita Adventures.
We moved to California August 2018 and this was our first chance to get up to Paso for a visit.
We did not have appointment but they were able to find us a table. We bought two bottle, Renegade and Pearl Chardonnay. They were fabulous as always.
