ABOUT VERDI CLUB WEDDING VENUE Originally founded in 1916 as a social club for Italian-Americans, the Verdi Club is a historic site in San Francisco, California's Mission District. Since relocating to its present site in 1935, the club has preserved its allure with its posh atmosphere and exquisite Art Deco-inspired decorations. FACILITIES AND CAPACITY OF VERDI CLUB WEDDING VENUE The Verdi Club's 2,500 square foot ballroom can host up to 299 standing guests or 185 seated people for dining, and it features 18-foot ceilings, dimmable lights, and a big dance floor. The ballroom is multipurpose, serving as both a dining area and a dance floor, so guests may easily go from one to the other. A 170-square-foot stage, elevated and built into the ballroom's rear wall, showcases a Chauvet spotlight, theatrical lighting, and a mirror ball that spins slowly. A full-bar, 400-square-foot lounge is adjacent to the ballroom and is ideal for cocktail receptions. There is street parking available to guests, and while there are four stairs leading up to the front entrance, the main floor restroom is handicapped accessible.
