INCREDIBLE. We are big travelers and this is hands down our favorite property we have ever stayed at. It’s hard to put into words all the wonderful things that make this resort what it is. The location is phenomenal, nestled between the ocean and mountain range. You have stunning views in every direction. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking and meticulously maintained. We got to stay in two different types of rooms and we’re extremely happy in both! Endless amenities, whether you enjoy hiking directly from the property, using the pool, sauna, gym, and countless trails on site. They have thoughtful events planned throughout the day for guests to enjoy. We chose to bring our dog, and could not be happier that we did. They made it so easy for us to have him here, which made the trip that much more enjoyable. The staff is absolutely incredible. We only encountered truly caring and helpful individuals, that really seem happy working here. It truly felt like a home away from home. I kept finding myself saying just how thoughtful everything is here. They really think about the things you enjoy doing on vacation or things that help you relax and put them right at your fingertips. Truly amazing. We cannot wait to come back!

Perfect all inclusive resort. We redeemed Hyatt points to this place and it’s a perfect getaway location for couples. It has two hot tubs and I really love the Japanese hot tub. It’s very private with very few people. And the meal is amazing too and they are all included. I would definitely rebook this resort

Ventana Big Sur is pure bliss! Every time we come here the service, food and rooms are impeccable. The fact that the food is all inclusive is pretty mind blowing given the quality and amount you are able to order (at the restaurant, to your room or even packed up on a picnic bag for you). We celebrated our honeymoon here and they had a big bottle of champagne and other gifts waiting for us. Last but not least, I had one of my best massages ever here! We love it here and will certainly be coming back soon!

Ventana Big Sur is pure bliss! Every time we come here the service, food and rooms are impeccable. The fact that the food is all inclusive is pretty mind blowing given the quality and amount you are able to order (at the restaurant, to your room or even packed up on a picnic bag for you). We celebrated our honeymoon here and they had a big bottle of champagne and other gifts waiting for us. Last but not least, I had one of my best massages ever here! We love it here and will certainly be coming back soon!

I have stayed at this resort multiple times, the service is definitely going downhill. My most recent was an awful experience.
Lunch: BBQ smokehouse is closed and I had to go to the Sur House for lunch. Surprisingly, they even ran out of salad.
Dinner: Reservation system was broken, they cannot find my reservation, I was able to get seated in the end. The food was delicious and service from Michael was great. (the only highlight from the stay)
Pool: I was shock when seeing a guy fully naked in the pool. TERRIBLE.
Room: The room was just fine.
Benefits: As a globalist, no early check-in (4pm), no late check-out (12pm), and no room upgrade.
Overall, very disappointed.

Absolutely phenomenal. The food was amazing and the workers there are so friendly and helpful. I will be coming back Again next year. I went for my birthday and they gave me a surprise dessert. Thank you to all the staff and cooks! A magical experience
