We golfed here as a practice round for an upcoming tournament and wow what a gem of a place. The front 9 and back 9 are like two completely different golf courses. Back 9 is one of the more beautiful and fun layouts I’ve played in a while. You would never guess we were in south Orange County instead of the wilderness somewhere.
Only point of criticism was the greens were recently “micro punched” which you don’t exactly expect on the last day of May. But not the end of the world. Overall would definitely golf here again.

Spectacular course. Challenging, fun, and great shape. Staff was wonderful, very friendly. Amazing experience all around. Definitely on the list to play again!

Great golf course with beautiful back drops. The front nine are nice and wide open. The back nine on the other hand is tight, and challenging! A great balance.

We play here once a month on average. This is the worst shape this course has been in since I can remember. For $195 green fee, you expect an outstanding track. The greens were in awful shape -- pitch marks, divots and potholes every where. Be prepared for your putts to take detours. Several fairways had puddles of water. It would've been nice to see the beverage cart at some point in the round instead of on the 17th tee box. It's a shame that Tijeras has fallen to such a level. You expect that at courses that run $100 but not at twice that rate.
