It was a great hotel with nice restaurants. We went there for our celebration and most staff super nice and services so fast and efficient. We used SPA and it was comfortable and great. Everyone was super nice. The only blemish Unfortunately, is that we faced racist behavior in Conservatory restaurant for breakfast Sunday morning by Monique. She was super cold when she was on our table, try to avoid any eye contact. First, we thought that she isn’t in mood but when white couples came in super nice and friendly! I didn’t believe it’s the same person.
They have diversity in staff and I think that they should not ignore someone with this attitude for service to their client. We left restaurant sadly and I hope that you won’t be her next target.

Nice escape from the valley heat to the fog with a 30° difference! There are nice walking paths in this area, but not much else to do except maybe chill, have a nice cocktail on The Terrace, read a book, experience the spa, and/or have a nice dinner at one of their restaurants overlooking the ocean. After walking around the property, we ended up dining at The Conservatory for a nice culinary experience. We had a table at the window overlooking the fog and what we could see of pelicans flying by. The service was impeccable, and the decor was very happy and inviting, but not stuffy. There were families who just returned from the pool to people dressing very casually to other people being dressed in more resort attire.
Good place to get away if you don't mind the long drive....note, there is a lot of traffic especially on the weekends, however, once you arrive and settle in, this property location is serene, beautiful and peaceful....even if you can't see passed the fog!!

I’m writing this review in the hope that the staff read it and act on it, as it is often the best way for getting someone to pay attention. I didn’t have much luck telling staff on the day. The hotel is nice, but for some reason there are open gas fires on the waterfront side of the hotel, burning with no one sitting near them and just wasting energy for no reason (see picture). At a time when greenhouse emissions need to be taken seriously by organisations such as this, it would be great if they can do something about it. Please use fossil fuel energy more wisely!

This is a wonderful coastal property. Special hotel. We recently celebrated a milestone anniversary and felt incredibly pampered. Special thanks to the bellmen and doormen who were all very helpful, the concierge, Johnna at the front desk, Alejandra in the 5th floor lounge and the GM for recognizing the special occasion. The hotel is spotless, quiet, and beautifully decorated. We hope to return again soon. Outstanding job to everyone and sincere appreciation.

What an amazing property. Great service and amazing room views. The food was very good and there is a terrific path for walking. The reason I have it 4 was due to some of the outrageous pricing. For example $65 a day for valet parking is not reasonable. You are much better off taking an Uber than driving.
