Our stay at The Richland was beyond amazing and blew away any expectations we had. The staff was SO accommodating and friendly and we can't say enough how welcomed we felt. They thought of every little detail in the design of the room, and it was so comfortable and cute.
The bar/restaurant was just as fantastic and we has a wonderful dinner both nights we were there - paired with excellent cocktails.
Don't miss out on this wonderful addition to the area, the team behind The Richland has done a great job and their staff continues to keep up with the great service. We loved our stay and hope to be back soon!

We went to this locality for drinks with our nephew and niece. They live here in Orange, CA. This lounge located at the Richland Hotel has a very nice lounge with appetizers and snacks menu. We ordered Old Fashions, couple of cocktails and appetizers from their menus, which were very good. I can’t compare a place like this here in CA with a lounge in NYC. However I must indicate, that I was surprised and happy with the drinks, food and service.
It was an excellent choice tonight. The down size? The cook/chef went home sick and the menu was downsized to chips, fries, olives, charcuterie board. It would have been nice to try their flatbreads and chicken sandwich. Still, a great choice in Downtown 🍊 Orange, CA.

My daughter and I stayed at the Richland in June 2023 for one night. We arrived early and they very kindly accommodated an early check-in for us and also allowed us to store our luggage in the room the next day as we spent the day in Disneyland and didn’t return until that evening. They were super generous with advice about the area and getting around via Ubers. They also took the time to genuinely inquire about our activities while we were in Orange and Anaheim. The room was also lovely, chic and well appointed. I truly hope to stay here again in the near future.

My daughter and I stayed at the Richland in June 2023 for one night. Well, on my first visit, the drinks, snacks and service was excellent. The ambiance is visually stunning. It smells great, too.
There was a minor incident with my bill receipt getting misplaced by another wait staff. Being stopped outside to ask if I had accidentally taken it along with the leather billfold. After walking through the Circle, being followed & stopped again by the manager to ask, again, if I had taken the receipt and billfold. I assured him that having been born and raised in Old Orange and known by too many people in the city, it would be ridiculous for me to ever think of doing anything that might draw negative attention my way 👀 We parted ways only to be approached again for the final time further down the road by the manager apologizing for the incident. Huge respect for Rob!
I will be returning for dinner, soon.
I'll post another review with pics of the food and staff after my return 👐🏽

I just spent last week at The Richland Hotel in Orange, CA. It is a fabulous, stylish, comfortable and trendy new boutique hotel within walking distance of downtown Orange. There is also a great onsite lounge and restaurant with creative cocktails and delicious food. Book this hotel if you are in the area. You will love it. The staff was really knowledgeable, friendly and helpful too!
The room is super comfortable with luxury details. Everything was so clean! The design, sheets, bedding, furniture and amenities are top of the line. AND each room has its only steamer which was so convenient as I was on a business trip. There is also a refrigerator, bathrobe and high end toiletries by Cowshed. Really great stuff.
