Overall, I had a good time. The experience of sleeping in a boat like this is one you cannot find all that often.
It is an old boat and because of that you have to expect that not everything is going to be great. The room was nice, though the beds where a bit small and the room lacked electrical outlets.
Expect to do a lot of walking. The elevators are slow and small, so the stairs are the most efficient means to get around. it is also a very big boat.
The food was pricey and honestly not worth it. Same with the gift shops and bar.
The tours are definitely worth it. Our tour guide Tanya was awesome and very knowledgeable about the boat and its history.
Overall, a fairly pleasant experience.

Staying on The Queen Mary is an amazing experience! As you walk in the ship you walk back in time! Our room was amazing, looking out over the bay. Lunch and breakfast were both delicious and the servers amazing. Everyone working here is very knowledgeable and happy to share the history of this magnificent ship! Loved the ghost tour! And if you go, make sure you check out the huge Lego ship!

Staying on The Queen Mary is an amazing experience! As you walk in the ship you walk back in time! Our room was amazing, looking out over the bay. Lunch and breakfast were both delicious and the servers amazing. Everyone working here is very knowledgeable and happy to share the history of this magnificent ship! Loved the ghost tour! And if you go, make sure you check out the huge Lego ship!

We were looking for a great experience while we were in Long Beach and this was such a great find. The ship is lovely, we stayed in a lovely suite on the M deck I believe. We had dinner-it was just "ok" and took part in the extended paranormal walking tour which we thoroughly enjoyed. We had the breakfast buffet before we departed the next day. If you are looking for a great evening and stay this is it, do the tour, enjoy the food, and stay the night!

Awesome experience. 1st time inside the Queen Mary . We pay 10 per person after 545pm just to look around without a tour . Awesome experience to be inside an amazing ship and the history that follows.From WW2 era to its paranormal activity and sights. Can't believe this ship has almost 100 years yet it holds strongly in beautiful Long Beach for people to stay, dine , tour and just to make great memories.Will be going back for a pay tour later on .

I will preface this review by saying we DID NOT stay here, but instead did the paranormal walking tour. Our tour lasted from 9pm until 11pm. We had Paul as our guide and he was fantastic! He gave us ample information about the ships history and ghostly sightings. He encouraged our group to take as many photos as we pleased, and we absolutely did. My ONLY complaint is that he went very quickly from one location to the next, and with such a large group, it was hard to keep up and get the pictures we hoped for at the same time. He seemed to start the next location when most of the group was there. However, I understand that it would be difficult to stop and wait for every single person, especially if they were taking up quite a bit of time at each stop. Paul was a fun guide! He told many jokes, kept out group entertained, and provided the tour we paid for. He was also kind enough to allow my party of 3 to explore a bit on our own once the tour was concluded, and we appreciated that very much! In all, we had a wonderful time and will absolutely tour again and definitely book a stay here.
