Great lakeside boutique hotel in the heart of La Quinta. Close to everything and yet you feel like you have truly escaped the hustle and bustle at this quaint Chateau. Beautiful hotel, lovely rooms and friendly service. And, best of all it is Dog Friendly! They have plenty of grass area and our pup loved sitting out on the patio gazing at the lake. They have a really cute restaurant on site and provide Continental breakfast that was a perfect start to the day!

I had the distinct pleasure of spending an evening at the bar of Chateau Lake La Quinta, and let me tell you, it was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I sat down, the ambiance and service transformed my evening into something truly special.
As I settled in, I was immediately struck by the stunning view of the lake. The sunset painted the sky in a vibrant tapestry, which was mirrored beautifully on the calm waters, creating a serene and picturesque backdrop. The bar itself was tastefully decorated, inviting me to relax and enjoy the moment.
The service I received was beyond exemplary. The staff, with their infectious positivity and attentive care, made me feel like a valued guest. Every interaction was filled with warmth and genuine interest, making me feel not just welcomed, but cherished. My drink was prepared with precision, and the menu offered an array of choices that catered perfectly to my mood.
As I sipped my drink, the flavors danced on my palate, perfectly complemented by the small, yet sophisticated bites I chose. Each taste was crafted with evident passion and skill, enhancing my enjoyment of the evening.

I stay at this place every time I travel there. It is a beautiful place, nice and pleasant staff who really go above and beyond for the comfort of the guests. The only reason that I am giving 4 stars is that the rooms are not as clean as a hotel room should be. When we first walked in the room there was a spider hanging from the ceiling which made us a little uncomfortable since you don’t expect to see a spider in a hotel room, also I was sanitizing the restroom like I always do everywhere I go and I saw urine stains on the toilet seat from previous guests I was happy I had my bathroom sanitizing wipes with me. Hopefully next time I am going there rooms are being cleaned better. Everything else is amazing about this place.

I want to express my deep appreciation for the expertise, professionalism, attention-to-detail, flexibility and above-and-beyond efforts of the entire staff at The Chateau for the beautiful execution of my daughter’s wedding ceremony and reception in August 2024.
A very special mention goes to Manager Karla. I cannot say enough about how her joyful and generous attitude and exceptional customer-service skills contributed to a day of elegance, beauty, joy and celebration. To mention all the ways The Chateau’s staff excelled would make for too long a message.
I’ll try, though:
The hotel staff was on top of every detail, making sure the wedding party and overnight visitors were comfortable. The wait staff and bartenders were knowledgeable, friendly, and very attentive.
Chef Jose’s beautiful and delicious creations delighted everyone. From the appetizers at the pre-dinner reception, to the fantastic entrees and delicate desserts, everything was sensational. Flavors, presentation, quantity, quality, and delivery were all perfect. Everyone happily applauded his talent and his kitchen staff’s expertise.
The behind-the-scenes staff I never met, arranged all seating, the wedding, reception and dinner table decorations, and saw to it that every detail was perfect. Our photographers were great and The Chateau’s staff assisted them in every way so they could do their job well.
So many of The Chateau’s staff shone that day. However, the brightest star was Manager Karla. Before, during and after, her leadership, communication and organizational skills made all this happen as we imagined and hoped. Her flexibility in accommodating our many requests was so appreciated. Her constant smile as she did some incredible problem-solving and troubleshooting was exceptional! Her expertise reduced our stress levels before the big day. Karla, a sincere big “THANK YOU!”

We would strongly recommend The Chateau for everything from drinks overlooking the lovely lake, dinner, hotel stays, or any special group event. The staff provide exemplary services in a beautiful and very romantic setting.
