Sep 17, 2022 I attend the tequila tasting. I didn't like that the tequila was pre poured and just sitting there. The shots were super small. I been to other tasting and they give you enough to taste. The food paring was one small chili strawberry and 2 square of chocolate.
It wasn't a good experience.

Dec 16, 2022 Fantastic cocktails in an intimate lounge. I went to hear live jazz with a large group of friends, and it a was marvelous evening of great music and drinks. I can't drink alcohol, which often means a sad soda water for me. The alcohol-free drink the bartender made for me was delicious, garnished thoughtfully and prepared with the same amount of care as the rest of the cocktails on the menu. The rest of the party all were impressed with their drinks and the hospitality. I'm looking forward to returning.

Sep 12, 2022 Came for a tequila cocktail making class (8-9pm) & stayed for happy hour (9-10:30pm) last Saturday. There's a different theme/alcohol each Friday and Saturday class. Class was entertaining and informative. Loved the history they shared and all 3 drinks were delicious. Wish we could've made them ourselves instead of just watching the bartenders. Also would've loved to take the recipes home since they weren't traditional drinks you'd find everywhere but overall it was a good time, worth the $40 and a fun way to spend the night.
Happy hour was $10 a cocktail and the cocktails were great! Atmosphere is cute and chill. There's roped off areas and then the bar area. I can imagine the bar area gets pretty crowded later in the night as it's not very big. Overall it was great and I'd come back especially for another class.
Parking: there's metered parking on the streets nearby. Meter we parked at on 6th didn't need to be paid after 8pm. There's also a parking lot on Main with attendants if that's your preference.
Area: It's downtown so expect the smell of pee, tents on the streets and a number of people roaming around. No one bothered us but worth knowing if you don't frequent the area
Entrance: the entrance was hard to find from the car in the dark. There's a black door with a lion on it just below street level with steps leading down to the door. It's pretty easy to spot once on foot.

Oct 31, 2022 Bouncer was very rude. We went for a Halloween party and my sister had a cup of ginger ale and the bouncer told her she needed to throw it away. We’re not from LA so we thought she just couldn’t bring the cup inside which is what she said. She said I’ll throw it away before I come inside because she didn’t understand. But he said because she didn’t listen that she now couldn’t come in after we had bought tickets for the event. She wasn’t rude or nasty or anything. He said you can’t drink anything in front of the building but that’s not what he said at first so she didn’t understand. So after she threw it away and came back he refused her entry. Even after we explained that we didn’t understand what he was saying. He seemed very power hungry and even the hostess at the door said he was like that all the time. In my opinion he doesn’t need to work the door if he’s going to be rude. If he wants so much authority he should go train for LAPD.

Oct 31, 2022 The bouncer was extremely rude with an inflated ego to match. He denied us entry because my friend was drinking a cup of ginger ale in “his sight”. After he told her she wasn’t allowed to drink anything in front of the club regardless of what it was, she threw it away and apologized and he told her he didn’t care and she wasn’t getting in. We bought tickets and were denied entry because of a prideful, rude bouncer. Not the best representation of the club. Especially for someone whose focus should be on actual club security, not a 5’2 out of towner innocently drinking ginger ale outside of a club.
