Terra Laguna is the perfect spot to be when you come to see the Pageant of the Masters. It is quite busy and the tables are a little close together. Expect to be bumped constantly by the wait staff but that’s my only complaint. The food is the right portion size and the taste is amazing. They have a bar but not a full bar but you can still get the standard drinks. Just don’t ask for a fuzzy navel like my mom did.

If I were to summarize my experience with one word, it would be: Disappointing.
First of all, let's discuss salads. I have a hard time understanding why restaurants think it's alright to server lettuce leaves that aren't chopped already. It doesn't help with presentation and makes the salad difficult to eat, and it wasn't even that good.
Next: My entrée was the braised short rib. It costs nearly $50 dollars. Many people at my table ordered this. I noticed that their portions are not consistent, at all. Some folks had twice as much potatoes as others and the short ribs varied considerably in size. It was also under seasoned and bland. Everyone had to add salt. I wouldn't have minded as much if it were a $20 dollar plate, but for $50 dollars, the expectation is that you nail it and they were far from it.
Finally: Dessert tested fine. Nothing amazing, yet cost 12 dollars for a tiny bowl. I typically share dessert with my wife, and the portion of this one left me unsatisfied, it is really made for a single person, but 12 dollars suggests it should be great for two.
I do not recommend eating here.

The food was very good. The reason for the low rating is our server added additional tip for herself after the 20% and 4%. Our total bill was $143.59 our card was charged $151.22. I know 7 dollars is not much but it was 7 couples at our table and we all were charged an additional 7dollars.

Great Experience and a great new Chef!
Loved the Shrimp Scampi and the Eggplant Dish. There is no better place to enjoy local Socal Cuisine with live music surrounded by art. Bravo!

Food was okay. Had reservation, and they rushed our table, even had manager come up and say they are rushing tables on purpose, since it seems they overbook there tables. For the cost of this average meal, you should at least have time to fi ish a meal without staff constantly trying to pull your plates and food from under you. Last time we ever eat here.
