As a life long Episcopalian I can say this was one if the MOST irreverent Holy Eucharist I’ve been to. A rock band is present on the altar and the priest desires to be the center of attention and shouts to rally the congregation like at some pep rally. Mass is not the appropriate place for silly Pentecostals-style emotionalism. Furthermore the priest said something pretty flippant about the Episcopal Church (of which he is supposed to be a priest!) stating that “we are no longer being the “frozen chosen”.” Excuse me sir? Just because it’s been our tradition to worship God in beauty, holiness, and reverence without silly emotionalism doesn’t mean we’re the “frozen chosen”… it means we believe in worshipping God with reverence and dignity without bringing in call and response type yelling and irreverent nonsense. If you’re an Episcopalian who enjoys a reverent, traditional and dignified service. THIS IS NOT THE PARISH TO GO TO! It has all the dignity and reverence of a Waffle House! Go to another parish with a higher ecclesiology and save yourself the waste of a Sunday service that is not glorifying to God.

I saw the exterior only. It is not well proportioned and the stonework is rustic without charm. Parking is limited. I went to see the craft fair and was not impressed.

A very loving, accepting, inclusive church with meaningful liturgy in both English and Spanish. The remarkable sanctuary alone is worth the trip. All are expected.
