Skylight Gardens' historic private dining room was named for its popularity with film stars in the 30s, 40s and 50s. This elegant, tranquil space is ideal for formal dinners, receptions, seminars or screenings. Separated from the main atrium by glass doors and accessible by a side entrance, its enormous picture window faces the entrance to the Hammer Museum. They put so much work into the food, made with the freshest ingredients imported straight from Italy.🇮🇹
Try their Spaghetti Bolognese, it will not disappoint, I promise.
Extensive Wine list with craft cocktails made to perfection.

Nov 28, 2022 I'd say the service was as excellent as the food, however, my table service good once. The second time we went to the bar. The bartender was on his own "show" performing and talking to the cameras we didn't see. He completely ignored us for 14 minutes while we were the only people sitting at the bar. He acted put out when we ordered and even more put out when another customer asked for a neat scotch. Not a difficult order. I was expecting to sign a waiver for the show he was the star if but it never came... For take out, the hostess tried her hardest. The ticket said the order, but the order wasn't right to the point it was inedible and $30+ tip wasted. We found out once we opened it too late and far away to replace. This place is beautiful has amazing food and if you have patience will perform. I'll be back.

Sep 27, 2022 I've been here a few times now. The food is good, but I really love the atmosphere. Inside there is a beautiful atrium with lovely lighting and several different dining rooms with a smoky leather aesthetic. And the outside seating is cozy, except for the occasional traffic noises. They have a bottomless brunch on Sundays that really deserves more attention. As it's upscale, it's never rowdy and really is a great place to eat somewhere scenic. They have valet but you can easily find parking if you don't mind walking a block or two.

Sep 15, 2021 I enjoyed having dinner here at Skylight Gardens. I wanted to get some pasta and it was a great decision to come here. I order Strozzapreti Norcina and it was delicious. Though the portions didn’t seem large, it most definitely filled me up.
My friend got the Strozzapreti Salmone and it was just as good. Fresh pasta! Need I say anymore. For a nice fine dinner in an intimate setting, I’d highly recommend it.
The waiter did get lost for a minute during our visit, but for the most part, this was a great experience.

I had gristle in my $65 rib-eye steak. I made a reservation online for dinner and I was seated in the bar area and not the main dining area. They brought bread sticks to the table before the meal....not fresh bread. They started cleaning the bar area...dragging chairs around and sweeping up before we were finished our meal...at 9:30pm on a Saturday night.
If you're looking for a more pleasant dining experience, I would go to the many other nearby restaurants that know how to provide proper service.
