My family and I had a lovely stay at the Silver Lake Pool & Inn. The vibe was casual and sophisticated. We loved the cool colors and design in the room. The beds were comfortable, if not a little soft. We didn't hear much traffic on the first floor which was nice. We enjoyed some time in their pool and deck which felt private.
We would return here again!

We traveled with our 8 month old baby for a wedding. While the hotel isn’t exactly made for kids, the staff was very accommodating in helping us make the space more baby friendly and we had an excellent time. The food at the restaurant is fantastic and we greatly enjoyed the rooftop pool.
Leaving 4 stars as there was no dresser or appreciable storage for clothes and all of our things.

We traveled with our 8 month old baby for a wedding. While the hotel isn’t exactly made for kids, the staff was very accommodating in helping us make the space more baby friendly and we had an excellent time. The food at the restaurant is fantastic and we greatly enjoyed the rooftop pool.
Leaving 4 stars as there was no dresser or appreciable storage for clothes and all of our things.

I was accompanying a coworker on a business trip to Los Angeles (even though I live in the area), but wanted to get away from home. This hotel is quaint but we were there when it was raining in LA. The room itself was great and the hotel is cute with its always heated 86 degrees pool, it has a nice restaurant and patio, and even space to charge my car! But the lobby was not doing well in the rain. There was a veritable fountain cascading down one wall and flooding not only the lobby but half of an entire hallway, and then a steady drip from a speaker into a tea cup placed on the lobby check in desk! I don't know how the wonderful night check in manager, Josh, did it but he made our stay bearable through the horrid flooding conditions of the hotel. Best to visit in the non rainy months and I hope the owners do something about that lobby before the next rainy season.

BE AWARE OF Unauthorized charges.
We were here few days ago, and after that we realized they charged extra 1k using my credit card. I’m trying to understand how it did happen but noone can answer to this question. I’m still waiting for manager’s call how did it happen and when will they refund unauthorized charge. This is very frustrating and annoyed situation. If you are gonna stay here, make sure to read credit card transaction after checked out.
+ we moved to different room during 2 nights stay since first room had very loud footsteps from upstairs, and it seems they charged 2 nights for 2nd room we moved. This is ridiculous. Folio doesn’t mean anything when you just see extra transaction in your bank account.

This hotel has an amazing location in the very walkable neighborhood of Silver Lake. If you’re looking for accommodations that are surrounded with plenty to do, this is the place!
I stayed for 5 nights and really enjoyed my time here. The hotel is small enough to where the property never feels overwhelmed with guests.
The rooms are clean and have beautifully curated decor. They even have Diptyque toiletries which I was not expecting! The entire property is well maintained.
The pool was a great perk. I came during a colder week (50 F) and the water was heated which was lovely. The bar was closed, but I believe you could order from the restaurant downstairs, Marco Polo.
It is very expensive to stay here in my opinion, with some weekends reaching $600 for a standard room. When you spend that much, you definitely expect a bit more of a luxury experience.
For the amount you pay, the service felt void, with most of the staff sustaining a somewhat numb and “blah” attitude. I had many encounters where I felt like I was providing them with customer service vs. the other way around.
No one was rude, but no one seemed enthusiastic and they were definitely all doing the least. This was everywhere from the bellhop, receptionists, and restaurant staff.
Is it worth the price? That’s debatable. I would stay again, but if the service didn’t improve I wouldn’t come back.
From what I can tell, they have an uninspired staff - maybe it’s time for some raises or new management!
