Region. Event Center

We held our magazine's holiday party of 80 people at the Region Event Center - and it could not have been easier or more seamless to plan! We worked with event director Paige who made everything so simple: we chose wine to be served off of their wine list (and proudly chose all local wines -- Region beautifully specializes in this), and then we brought in our own catered food and activities (Brick and Mortar catering, LouLou Cheese Girl for the cheese board, and Quiet Events silent disco) and even though we brought in those vendors, Paige so kindly worked with them directly to make sure they had all of the tools they needed to execute. Paige worked with us to make sure everything fit into the budget (offering cost-effective options all along the way, including providing tables, seating, mic, etc at no additional cost); she and her team felt like true team members all along the way, including when our guests were at the party. The Region team made sure that each guest felt at home and taken care of. NOT TO MENTION - the actual space is so beautiful and new! The architecture and tile work is especially stunning. And the space has a full kitchen with ample fridge space - hallelujah! One less thing we had to think through. We felt lucky to have our party there; what a perfect way to celebrate together. We did a wedding rehearsal dinner for about 40 at Region’s new event space , followed by a Welcome Party for over 100 people with drinks and desserts. It was a fantastic space, beautifully decorated, and easy for the caterers to use the kitchen to prepare a great meal for our group. Both the bartenders and the staff were so easy to work with and the space is well located in downtown SLO and very functional for larger groups with an indoor/outdoor feel. I would highly recommend them!

Region was a great place to host our daughters wedding rehearsal dinner and welcoming party for those friends and family from out of town. The food and wine was excellent. The Region staff were easy to work with but most important made everyone feel welcomed and attended too. Thanks Region for a successful event!
