We were coming from the Reno desert and in desperate need of a great place to decompress. This was a beautiful and charming respite and the perfect antidote to hard camping with all the pampering and beauty it embodies. Every detail of the hotel is perfect. Great furnishings, amenities. I do have to say, what made it truly special and unique was our greeting and the care that 'KEVIN' at the front desk gave us. From the moment I called and he answered, his knowledge, patience and just plain hospitality (so rare these days) made us want to come there. Then when we arrived, he took care of us and made great suggestions (the best being the restaurant and the fact that they could do room service!) I went to the bar because they were close to closing and ordered, met the terrific chef who happened to be coming out finishing up and the bartender went through the menu with us. It was AMAZING gourmet food. After dinner we had a jacuzzi and a swim amidst the pines and aspens. What a place!!!!!! We woke up refreshed and happy the next morning and seriously considered staying for a week, but unfortunately, we had to get on the road and get home. But we will be back! We will not be making the trek to the mountains without stopping here again. And thanks Kevin, you are terrific!!!!

We came here for a wedding and reception, the wedding ceremony was hold in the back out door area and it was quite, beautiful and serene, followed by cocktails near by it was chilly and they had a fire going outside along with large gas powered heaters, appetizers were delectable! Reception was upstairs staff was super nice, professional and very accommodating. We had q wonderful time.

What a gem! I went for the first time to the annual reggae concert. It was affordable and across from the Palisades. The grounds were beautiful, the rooms were spacious, and the staff was outstanding. Excellent service. Will tell our friends about this hotel. We will be back very soon.

Why is there no mention of the fact that there is no air conditioning on the website. I feel like an absolute sucker for paying 300 a night for a room that has no ac. Sweating it out all night. Bed was comfy. No microwave but there is a fridge. Seriously though they should not be charging as much as they do without basic accommodations such as being able to make your room a comfort temperature.

We've had several stays at PlumpJack and have loved each time we were there. In 2023, we got engaged up at High Camp (during our stay at PlumpJack). We loved it so much that we decided to have our wedding there June 2024. The staff is top-notch; they are all hospitable, accommodating, and welcoming (with a special shoutout to Rob, who was super responsive leading up to the wedding and answered all of our questions and Sarah - who helped coordinate our wedding on-site!). The food is fantastic. The ceremony site is beautiful. We're already looking forward to coming back!
