Had an event there, everything went very smoothly... Very nice spacious venue with nice views and ambience... Plenty big for plenty people if necessary for your event needs... Nice guy that either owns or works there as well... Very helpful... Would but hesitate in recommending...

An incredibly stunning venue with gorgeous vineyards for miles and miles... I'm in love with this piece of Heaven on Earth! And the staff is so easy to work with and easy to love!!! Can't wait to get married here in April to the love of my life!!

I am a wedding planner. I try not to have 1 favorite venue. No one that experiences this location can't deny the fact that this is one awesome place to share with your closests family and friends. It is like no other. I know that getting married at a barn is the cool thing. A lot of Los Angeles couple still want the vineyards? What if you want the beautiful ranch locations that have the huge oak trees? Well, from what I have seen so far in SLO county this venue has it all. All of it. If you know Santa Margarita Ranch- it is really two sides with the town splitting it in half. The bigger and beautiful side that has land and land of only rolling hills, ponds and vines is now had added a newly built barn. I am almost positive the same people own the very popular SM ranch with the historic barn.They seem to know a thing or two about what brides and grooms are looking for. Modern aminities like bathrooms and a kitchen is something you will have a hard time finding in these older barns. So as a wedding planner one of my jobs is to make sure you get everything you need and deserve from your venue and a lot of them Have an onsite event planner. Sometimes a tricky relationship because they are so busy. They have 1,2,3 weddings a weekend. They get paid to protect the venue . It just never Felt like that with them. Not with SM ranch and not with Oyster Ridges Planner, Melodee. She felt like more of a partner and you never feel like you are just another wedding. She has a great personality that makes everyone feel like you are home. Everyone that we worked with treated everyone with respect. I can honestly say it was the smoothest and one of the harderst workers and most places are a venue only. They don't go above and beyond. Most We had the rehearsal early Friday and the whole wedding party got to go zip lining (saw a bear) a touring the ranch on went to the downtown winery and they supplied wine and a cheese tasting. My fav part was they offered to let the wedding party make the couples wedding favor. The party learned and blended the wedding wine that was bottled, corked & labeled with the couples name And date. Oyster Ridge had all the bottles ready to be handed out Saturday at the end of one of the best weddings.
