Kinda outdated and dull but the location is amazing. Right across the street from Barbara's Fishtrap which made it easy to have a great meal. The rooftop lounge in area was perfect for the impromptu after-party we had for several people celebrating their birthday. A little pricey for the decor but we'll definitely stay there again.

The Oceano Hotel & Spa is amazing!! I just had my wedding at The Oceano in June. All of the wedding coordinators are top tier! They have such an incredible team and they work so well together. Our wedding was perfect. I could go on for days talking about how amazing Nancy is. The Oceano was perfect. Perfect weather, the venue is phenomenal, having the hotel rooms there is exactly what is needed after a night of wedding festivities. I would highly recommend The Oceano for a venue, but also to enjoy a vacation.

The Oceano Hotel & Spa is amazing!! I just had my wedding at The Oceano in June. All of the wedding coordinators are top tier! They have such an incredible team and they work so well together. Our wedding was perfect. I could go on for days talking about how amazing Nancy is. The Oceano was perfect. Perfect weather, the venue is phenomenal, having the hotel rooms there is exactly what is needed after a night of wedding festivities. I would highly recommend The Oceano for a venue, but also to enjoy a vacation.

I was nervous about getting a room here for our anniversary, because a lot of the reviews talked about “loud noise”. Some even made it seem unbearable. We stayed on a Friday night and it was lovely. We didn’t hear much noise all all and we were above the main lobby. They even provide ear plugs. The hotel is older, but still incredibly beautiful.There are tons of restaurants surrounding it and the room service was really delicious. Tons of breweries in the local area.

Amazing location, safe and clean. Great prices on the weekdays with large well appointed rooms. Great bar and restaurant. My only suggestion would be to replace the carpets and furniture for new. The best hotel in the area by far. No pool but the ocean and Mavericks surf spot right out front. Exceptional location and facilities for a wedding. Would be hard to beat.

We were looking to get away for a lovely weekend retreat and the Oceano was our stop. The bathroom had a soaking tub that fits 1 person and a nice shower stall. There are shutters that open connecting the bathroom to the rest of the suite (for some reason) which allows you to know exactly what is going on in the bathroom. The bathroom toilet is extremely loud upon flushing. The room does come equipped with a fireplace but its not viewable from the bed. The hotel is very well kept and clean. The bed is firm and the sheets are soft. There is also a mini fridge in the room but no microwave. The room does have a view of the harbor and there is a small beach a block away from the hotel. The hotel has free parking. The hotel is not Pet Friendly. You do have a-lot of restaurants and shopping In walking distance and are only 15 minutes from downtown Half Moon Bay. The restaurant on premises is only available Thursday-Sunday. The spa is available but is on limited availability during the week. We felt completely safe during our stay and had no problems with noise.
