The barbecue oysters are fantastic! The clam chowder was a bit of a disappointment. I'd had it about 10 years ago, and it was the best I've ever had. It was briny, full of plump clams, and while it was creamy, it was not thick. What I was served was thick with no evidence of clams. It was like chowder served at Midwestern diners. The service was really attentive and helpful. I'll be back for the oysters, but I'll pass on the chowder next time.

We drove down from Fort Bragg to celebrate my husband's birthday. We heard about this place from some traveling customers of ours. Nick's Cove and every single item we experienced and tasted was exceptional 😋 Our service was fantastic! It truly was a special day! Thank you 😊

If you find yourself at Nicks, good times are at hand. Fun atmosphere with the special flare only found in the Point Reyes region. BBQ oysters, lobster roll, clam chowder and other delicious seafood dishes add to the charm. A sunset dinner on the patio with my wife capped off a perfect day on North Beach. And THANK YOU to the staff who polishes the silverware 🍴 I noticed immediately and thought I had new cutlery. Well done all around.

My family and I went here for the restaurant. From the outside, it seems like an unassuming building by the water but the inside was very nice and tidy. They have a full bar and nicely decorated, plenty of tables inside and outside. You can order via QR code if you prefer.
The service was great. The staff came by our table several times and our waitress even took note of our hungry cranky toddler that she made sure we got the kid's food first before ours.
The food was amazing. The oysters were probably the best I've ever had. I got the halibut which was delicious and served with plenty of vegetables, and my wife had the cioppino. The little bit of octopus my wife gave me was great, well seasoned and soft.
The cocktails were amazing, so the bar definitely wasn't only for show. We ordered four different cocktails and if we lived closer, it would be a great spot just to get drinks.
Overall, we would definitely come back here in the future.

Dropped by on my way up the PCH to satisfy a fish and chips craving. The deck seating would have been perfectly lovely if not for the yellow jackets everywhere, but to be fair there were traps at regular intervals, so the restaurant is aware and trying to manage it, and I could have chosen to sit inside instead. No issues with that--definitely not their fault, but something to be aware of, especially if you're traveling with kids.
The food was fine. Nothing special and very much overpriced for what it was, but it was hot and edible if a little bland, and the fries were actually pretty tasty. Unfortunately, I wouldn't say it was worth having paid $24 for two thin cod fillets.
