I live down the street less than a block away from this place, and most of the comments are false. Is a shame that they are using the phrase "Friends of Nature" so they can generate business, specially when they have nothing to do with nature. Second, the closest trail trailhead is Mount Wilson; which is approximately 1.8 miles from there, and you have to walk down to the city and then up in order to reach it.
No ⭐ from my part, the only one ⭐ you see is forced by the system, not mine.

I wanted that to be my wedding venue so about 4 months ago I asked for a tour and after the tour I decided it would work for what I had envisioned so I put down the $300 deposit and reserved a day in July 2018. Fast forward to February. I'm postponing my wedding to 2019. Me and my fiancé were told that if we cancelled with over 3 months notice we could get our deposit back. They are now saying they don't have a reservation under our name or any record of a deposit. I know I have the receipt somewhere and I will find it and I will get my money back but this is not a trustworthy establishment. I still wanted to get married here in 2019 and this is not about the money at all. To have someone sit you down in your office, write down the date in front of them, take their money, thank them for their business, shake their hand, and then tell them there have no record is so shameless. After seeing how unprofessional and untrustworthy they are they have lost my respect and my business. I do not recommend them to anyone.

Went here for the first time recently. It's a bit of an uphill climb, but we'll worth it! Nice quiet relaxing atmosphere nesseled deep in the foothills.
