Dec 27, 2024 Love this place! Stylish, modern, elegant atmosphere. Food was divine. Had the short ribs with rice and homemade corn tortilla. Husband had whole branzino with a cilantro sauce that was to die for. Loved the margaritas!!!!

Sep 30, 2024 Part of the Drift hotel, on Indian Canyon Drive. It’s a relaxed but very friendly atmosphere. Weirdly I tried to book via Opentable add it said it was fully booked. Tried through Resy, no problems. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. We had a fabulous meal. We started with seafood ceviche, pork tacos, daily special taco (also pork shoulder but succulently cooked for many hrs) and beef tacos. Just brilliant, had a lovely meal. The margaritas were pretty good too!

Aug 26, 2024 Arrived in PS this morning without having had breakfast. After a quick search on maps, I found Maleza was open at 11am. Pretty, roomy interior, comfy couches and tables/chairs. Minimal, yet warm. My server was excellent, attentive, and friendly. He said they’re known for fish tacos and shrimp tacos. I ordered the ceviche for starters, whose salsa goes perfectly with the artesenal, rustic corn tostados! YUM! Shrimp tacos did not disappoint w sweet potato. I also sopped up the ceviche green sauce w every taco bite. Perfect amount for a satisfying brunch on a hot day! Will go in the desert resto rotation whenever I come over from LA!

Dec 11, 2024 My wife and I had a lovely experience. The restaurant is beautiful and makes for a perfect date night spot. I still remember our server’s name - Grace, because her approach to service was both professional and casual, making our dinner experience exceptional. My wife got one of the house cocktails and I opted for the local brewery’s Pilsner. Both were great. Grace did a wonderful job guiding us through the menu, making sure we ordered just enough variety without over ordering to avoid leftovers as we had plans after. The food was amazing- bright colors and rich in flavor. Even the simple dishes, were out of this world. I highly recommend making Maleza a stop when visiting Downtown Palm Springs - a true gem.

Oct 13, 2024 This was such a cute spot. Stopped in for a quiet lunch on Sunday around 2:00 pm. Everywhere on the main drag was so busy and chaotic. The staff was welcoming and polite and food was great! Not too big or heavy for the heat. The interior atmosphere was beautiful too!
