Oct 28, 2024 My wife and I stayed here while celebrating our 32nd anniversary and it was simply amazing. Our little cabin was perfect! The property is beautiful and picturesque. Great service throughout our stay. It’s in the heart of town and so easy to walk around and explore. Plus it’s dog friendly! We will return.

Aug 19, 2024 My daughter had her wedding here a few weeks ago. Overall, we were very pleased. The food and service were excellent although the menu is a little limited (small inn so understandable). Menus posted online if you’re interested. She stayed in the water tower room and it was beautiful. Very convenient for the ceremony and dinner as well. We rented the South Dining room for 30 guests. It was a bit crowded but worked for us. Maccallum House was very helpful getting everything set up. Wedding was in the gardens. It is gorgeous! Photos online don’t do it justice. A few things I’d change, maybe not do first look in the garden. It’s beautiful but not very private for first look. Don’t order flower arrangements for the garden. Save your money. We spent several hundred dollars on aisle decor/altar arrangements but the garden is so lovely, it completely dwarfed our arrangements. The draping was helpful to tie things together and the bridal party flowers were lovely. Candles and small centerpieces is all we needed in dining room. My daughter and her husband were very pleased. Aug 5, 2024 when you pay nearly $300 per night you do not expect to have an outhouse for your bathroom! our room did not have a bathroom in it but rather you had to leave the room, go outside, use a key to open a separate bathroom shack. and that's just the beginning. The room itself was so small you could not walk 2 people on one side of the bed, it was drafty, dim with poor lighting (not to be explained by the fact that it's a historical building). No room service on more than one night stay. Stench of garbage rules the front of the hotel garden and its left side to the point that it's impossible to enjoy sitting in the nice garden. Although advertised as a B&B (breakfast was good) but you're asked to pay the tax on the breakfast and a service fee, which is not included - never saw this at any other B&B. We had dinner there once: atmosphere nice, steak terrible. The front facade is beautiful but it is skin deep only.

Jun 27, 2024 Spent two nights here for my 32nd birthday and couldn’t have been happier with it. The rooms have that old school cozy feeling to them, which we love and appreciate! The location was centrally located and walking distance to everything we wanted to do. We also loved the ability to eat different meals in the dining area or hangout by the fireplace at the bar. We hope to be back someday!

May 6, 2024 A wonderful birthday spent at the MacCallum House! My husband, myself and our dog just spent 3 nights here for my birthday . We stayed in room 15 and loved it! The room was recently updated and was comfortable and clean. Having your own spa (which was also clean and well kept) is so nice! The service here is outstanding and we loved having breakfast in the restaurant everyday (included in your room fee). We also had dinner and drinks here one night as well. Everything is so well prepared with high quality ingredients. Always a great stay at the MacCallum House! We will be back again soon!
