A wonderful way to spend an afternoon. There was no wait to get in 11am on a Saturday. Expect to do a lot of walking so wear comfortable shoes, a hat, sunglasses, and bring water. So many places to sit in solitude and enjoy the scenery. We went during the Ikebana exhibit which displayed stunning Japanese floral sculptures. Don’t miss the Tropical Greenhouse or the Garden of Quiet Reflection.

Haven’t been here for a while. Redid the entrance area, looks nice. Came with friend to see the bonsai winter show. Amazing details in this art. It really is an act

The LA County Arboretum is such a nice place to visit anytime of the year. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and the Arboretum is always immaculate while maintaining its natural beauty. I love going and just meandering through the different areas amongst the peacocks, Canada Geese and other critters. Besides the amazing collection of flora, there ponds, waterfalls, sculptures and historical buildings & more to enjoy. It is definitely someplace that distracts me into a calm and content state. (At this time- The Arboretum participates in the Museums for All program and waives the typical cost of admission for anyone with proof of EBT benefits and photo ID and 1 guest)

We had our wedding here on 7/9/23 and we couldn't have asked for a better experience and a more beautiful venue. We had our ceremony in the gazebo on the Event Lawn, and the reception at the Peacock Cafe. We were able to take beautiful photos all around the arboretum.
Carlos and Nicole who run the on-site Peacock Cafe also take care of weddings, and they were AMAZING! Carlos helped us set up all the logistics and made sure everything we wanted was able to happen. Nicole made us a completely vegan menu (dumpling-based buffet( that was DELICIOUS! She was lovely to work with and we couldn't believe this was her 2nd-ever vegan wedding. Everyone raved about the food!
Altogether we were so happy with our experience here. Carlos and Nicole are incredibly kind and are excellent at their jobs. They also helped us secure a wonderful DJ and helped us plan a beautiful wedding while staying in budget. The whole staff at the Arboretum made the night go amazingly smoothly. I couldn't recommend them enough!

Such an incredible arboretum and beautiful walking gardens! We spent about 2 hours here until the heat became unbearable but one visit is just not enough. A wide variety of flora with labels, walking paths with seats by numerous water features make this a favorite of ours! They offer various concerts throughout the year, as well. The wild peacocks were a hoot to watch. This is fun and interesting for the entire family. Highly recommend you visit, if you are able.
