There have been many Marriott properties that we have stayed at. This was the best experience of them all! I mean that. Starting with the staff. I cannot say enough great things. They were so engaged with their guests. Everyone was greeting us and asking how things were going. The valet suggested places to eat. The cleaning crew would say hello. It simply was a retreat thanks to the staff! The hotel itself is just gorgeous. It’s a 5-star resort feel and just a wonderful escape from the craziness of Southern California. We will absolutely return. Thankful for a great Marriott property such as this!

We stayed at the Inn for my husbands birthday weekend (1st time in Capo after moving to San Diego). Our room was clean and nicely appointed and stay would have been good if we just stayed in our room (quiet and comfortable).
Unfortunately we had a miserable time on the grounds. We tried to go to the bar area on the Friday eve we arrived and it was packed way beyond comfort - like fire code breaking packed. It got so noisy that we decided to go outside on the patio and where there had been a musician playing. He was just ending his set when we sat down and the waitstaff immediately started moving tables off of the patio (it was 8:30 pm). Our table was the only one left when a staff member came over to tell us ‘don’t worry, you can stay..enjoy yourself…we just have a wedding tomorrow that we need to get set up.’ I felt like his words/body language were indirect and the guy was really saying get out of here…. And remember this was after we were pushed out of the bar area by the giant (wedding it turns out) crowd. We felt like the hotel was solely focused on this wedding and any other guests were left to fend for themselves. The hotel needs to decide if they want to be an event venue, or have a variety of guest types that they attend to. It seems the hotel is too small to do everything they want to do. I wish I would have known about the situation before staying as we would have never stayed there for my husbands special weekend. Very disappointed - we will not be returning.

This Hotel is absolutely beautiful. The stonework all the way down to the interior design is fabulous! The staff are awesome and management is top notch! I was there as Vendor for my business Bell and Moon, doing a Christmas event that they hosted last night. But my wife and I can’t wait to go back as a guest and just relax and be pamper! Lol

This Hotel is absolutely beautiful. The stonework all the way down to the interior design is fabulous! The staff are awesome and management is top notch! I was there as Vendor for my business Bell and Moon, doing a Christmas event that they hosted last night. But my wife and I can’t wait to go back as a guest and just relax and be pamper! Lol

Business overnight with the work team in this lovely inn. Service and setting were calming. Catering did a great job w meals (next time we may ask for dairy free desserts) with the breakfast scrambled eggs some of the best I have had in a long time. Rooms were comfortable with plush bedding and a multi fixture shower. Nespresso in the room was a nice touch. Location just steps away from the Mission and downtown SJC for close-in dining options. May need to return for a weekend stay

The place is very clean and the service is spot on. The management just needs to give the daytime bartenders some help. The poor guy was slammed out of his mind and guests were frustrated.
They also need to turn off the overwhelming perfume they pump into the lobby. It is way too much and not necessary.
Other than that, the pool staff was amazing. Rooms were super clean. Overall a great experience.
Matt at the bar was hilarious and knowledgeable with his drink skills.
