I cannot overstate how pleased I was at the service, attention and kindness of the staff.
One of our party took ill during our stay, and we received a sympathetic ear, free masks and directions to a reputable doctor, in addition to the usual advice, recommendations and hotel service for food, entertainment, transportation etc.
Nathan, Benjamin and Cassidy are marked for special shout outs. Above and beyond service.

The hotel was very clean and modern and has great amenities. I love the chic vibes and decor. The front desk representatives were always very nice and accommodating. I'd definitely stay here again!
The location is very convenient, next to a large mall and trader Joe's, walking distance from a lot of restaurants and coffee shops, across the street from a BART station.
My one con is that the area is a bit rough, a lot of unhoused people and addicts, there was a shooting half a block away the first night we were there, and we saw a physical altercation around the corner one night on our way back to the hotel.

The rooms were spacious and clean with a good decor. Where this hotel really lets itself down is in the service quality.
I have been chasing a receipt since I left, something I made clear would lead to me losing money if not resolved in a given time-frame. Sadly (regardless of multiple calls and emails) this deadline has now been missed potentially putting me personally out of pocket.
Not worth the hassle if travelling for business.

Hotel Zelos is beautifully decorated. The location is great, as is the hotel's security. We were pleased that our room was cleaned without our having to request it. Too many hotels are still taking advantage of guests and cutting back on room cleaning. The front desk staff is very helpful and friendly.

Rooms are clean and spacious, nice toiletries, comfortable beds, stylish restaurant. 3 stars instead of 5 for really dark hallways, a TV that doesn’t allow me to connect to streaming services (in 2023??) and a restaurant that took 30+ minutes (never actually got my food) because they didn’t have the waffle mix ready! Also had trouble getting my receipt. All told - there’s plenty of options in the area - you can usually do better for the price. Expect more out of a 4-star hotel!
