We loved our stay at the Dunbar House. Relaxing and lovely.
It was a weekend where an event was going on and we worried about parking but parking was easy, they have spots just for residents. We stayed at another location in the area during an event weekend and that place didn’t care its patrons didn’t have parking.
The rooms are clean and fresh, I loved the soaking tub.
The best part of the stay, the food, really! We had the best breakfasts! The chef is wonderful! If she had a restaurant I would love to go there everyday! I don’t know how those potatoes were cooked inside but not burned like how most places do them. The veggies and fruit were fresh! There was NO tasteless hard melon that I feel most places serve. Ah if you stay make sure to tip her, the meal is free but she works hard!

We loved our stay at the Dunbar House. Relaxing and lovely.

Could not be happier with our stay here at the Dunbar Inn. A very quaint and quiet place to stay just outside of the hubbub around Main Street in the town of Murphys. The breakfast that Sarah made for us was absolutely delicious! The staff and other guests were very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They even went so far a to wear their pajamas and invite us to do the same! We will be back!

Could not be happier with our stay here at the Dunbar Inn. A very quaint and quiet place to stay just outside of the hubbub around Main Street in the town of Murphys. The breakfast that Sarah made for us was absolutely delicious! The staff and other guests were very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They even went so far a to wear their pajamas and invite us to do the same! We will be back!

We had a truly incredible experience while staying here. We have stayed at multiple B&Bs and this might just be the best one we've ever stayed at! First off, the house is very well maintained. It's clean and comfortable. The room we stayed in had a lovely balcony that we used a lot. In addition to the house and property, the hospitality was truly next level. We let them know ahead of time of our dietary preferences and they went out of their way to accommodate us - even making us a special breakfast! The surrounding area is also very cute and it's an easy drive to some great locations! Cannot recommend this B&B enough!

Overall the stay was very pleasant, due to the age and construction of the building, ceiling clearance was restricted at times in our room. It would be nice to have a full shower in the bathroom. It was nice to sit outside on our patio in the evening. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was very accommodating to any of our needs. Would be nice to have a window to open at night to allow the cool evening breeze into the room. It was enjoyable to have other guests to chat with in the morning over breakfast. The mattress on the bed seemed to sag in the middle with two people in bed. We would rate the room a 9 out of 10..and would stay again, probably just not in that room.

My husband and I loved our stay at the Dunbar House! Communication from the host was excellent (directions for check-in, inquiring about special requests). The property itself was beautiful and well kept (modern, beautiful, and clean rooms with historical charm). The service and breakfast were wonderful (there were several breakfast options, we opted to eat outside on the porch and had a beautiful view of the lush grass and gardens). I highly recommend the Dunbar House in Murphys (walking distance to cute shops, tasting rooms, and restaurants) for a fun and relaxing getaway!
