DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel San Pedro: Madeo Ballroom

Been here a few times now so safe to say I can write a review. Never had a single issue with the rooms here or the staff. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars ill get into. The pool area always has a sewage smell. It's really unsettling. And that's the reason for only 4 star. But is the pool and jacuzzi clean? yes. Parking is not an issue. Plenty of it. Oddly this hotel is EXTREMELY QUIET. You'll be able to sleep in without any boat noise or dock noise at all. It's actually quite awesome. The food in the hotel isn't to bad either. I've had quite a few things at this hotel and never had an issue. But let me go on about how the staff has really made my stays great. They always let me park my car in front of the door and leave it there overnight ( if I bring an exotic car ) they've always been very professional and helpful with baggage as well. they go out of their way to make sure your stay is a good one. And to me, that will bring me back. So would I recommend this hotel? Most definitely. It's right on the water in the harbor/docks. It's SUPER quiet and the staff will go out of their way to make sure your stay is good. Be sure to checkout the happy hour of course!

Second stay at the hotel. We were greeted like family on arrival ! Its so nice that the food is good (fish taco's Yum) so once you arrive you can just settle in after a travel day. Room was clean and comfortable. Shuttle Driver and trip to Ship was fun! Wish I had caught his name. Great place to start your vacation.

My family and I came here for my very intimate wedding in San Pedro. We chose this location based on the stellar reviews. Unfortunately it was more like the hotel visit from hell. The rooms were dirty, one room having a chunky fluid splattered underneath the desk. We had to switch rooms multiple times due to how gross they were, another time having to switch because there were roaches in the drain. We were located on the 1st floor and were awoken to a security guard trying to get into my room and other rooms as well. When brought to managements attention they ignored the issue. They ignored several issues. After my new marriage, the sliding door to the bathroom broke and we couldn’t close it. We tried to get management to fix it for two days straight. The only thing good about this hotel is it’s very few friendly staff members. I’d honestly rather stay at a Motel 6 in downtown Hollywood, you may be safer there…

We had a stressful drive to get to our hotel and every staff member made the drive worth it. Emerson at the front desk was kind and very helpful, thank you so much!!! The breakfast crew were the best I’ve ever experienced! What hard working staff! I will stay here any time I am in the area!

Michelle, at the front desk, was the epitimy of fine hospitality. Our room was well kept and the linens are high quality. Pillows are firm and correctly sized. The restaurant was a good value and provided great service for our party of 6.
