Aug 4, 2024 The staff are awesome. They are sweet and respectful. It is the facility itself that us horrendous.
Our room smelled like mildew when we got it. After dealing with that the clicking sound of pipes and god-knows-what started and wend on almost the entire night.
Love the folks.
Hated the building.

May 26, 2024 I stayed in this hotel for two days. The room was clean, the bed & pillows were comfortable, and the drapes darkened the room well. I like that were a lot of towels in the bathroom. The room had a small balcony with a couple of chairs which I didn’t get to enjoy it because of the weather, but it surely is nice to have a hotel room where you can open the door and get fresh air. I liked the overall vibe.
The front desk staff were friendly. The only issue I had is that their instructions on how to get to my room weren’t clear. I arrived late at night and I didn't quite grasp what the guy at the front desk said so he showed me a plan of the hotel, but before I could grasp the layout he pulled it away. The place felt like a maze at the end of a long travel day. I ran into another person from our party and he too was a lost. When I walked out of the room in the morning, I noticed all the room numbers & arrows that were posted that I missed at night! In the larger scheme of things, that was just a minor kink.
I definitely will stay at this hotel again.

May 15, 2024 This was a clean hotel with excellent service. The courtyard was beautifully decorated with palms and flowers, the food at the restaurant was delicious and the event rooms were spacious. At one point, I had a faulty iron and I called the front desk to let them know, so they quickly came to my door with a new iron. My only complaint is that the mattresses were a little hard.

Jun 21, 2024 The Double Tree Hotel In Claremont Looks Beautiful And Elegant. I Have Gotten A Virtual Tour Of This Hotel On Google Maps And Saw What It Looks Like On The Inside. I Even Saw How The Bathrooms And Hotel Rooms Looked Organized. In This Case, This Hotel Is Well Maintained And Is Recommended For Anyone Who Visits The Area For A While

Jun 6, 2024 Very disappointing, had a Dayuse reservation for 5 hours, showed up at check in time and was told "10 more minutes, 20 more minutes, 15 more minutes, have a seat." Since I was paying $180 for 5 hours I was very disappointed to be denied one of those hours and also to have my time wasted.
As a hotel owner myself I understand situations arise, but I was not given any apology or accommodation, definitely not given the respect of a full nightly guest, situation appeared "funny" to the staff (including the manager) so after an hour I left. Very disappointing, definitely not returning.
