Really the only thing I could say bad about the place is the outside and elevators were dusty and dirty. But the lobby, my room, the restaurant and the snack area was clean. The windows walking up to the hotel were all dirty and had cobwebs. They really need to power wash the outside and mop the corners of the elevators. But my room was super clean, my bathroom in my room was clean, the front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would stay there again.

This hotel is awesome. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. It was updated and spacious. The pool and hot tub are heated creating a relaxing evening. They have a snack bar that has some overpriced items but some that are not to badly priced. Our room gets 4 out of 5 stars because the shower head was a little broken. The atmosphere is very relaxing at this hotel and it is in a very nice area with plenty to see and do. The staff were friendly and professional. We will definitely visit this hotel again. Perfect place for a couple wanting to get away.

My experience at Crown Plaza Costa Mesa was incredibly disappointing. Attending my sister's celebration of life there was ruined by a complete lack of action from the staff. As I watched people idly scroll through their phones for two hours. The embarrassment I felt during my sister's important ceremony is something I'll never forget.
What's worse is that despite reaching out to management, there has been no attempt to address or resolve the issue. It's disheartening to feel that there's a lack of empathy towards my family, potentially influenced by our race, evident in the dismissive response to our emails. Instead of acknowledging the pain caused, the focus seemed to be on a meager discount, trivializing the gravity of the situation.
The fact that my family members left the premises feeling hurt and disregarded, while management prioritized a discount, is deeply upsetting. This entire ordeal has left me incredibly upset, to the point where I'm compelled to share my experience, despite not being one to typically write reviews. The disregard for the significance of my sister's ceremony and the lack of genuine concern for our well-being is simply unacceptable.

The wifi sucks! It got disconnected from time to time. I ended up using my 5G data for most of the time. Room size is okay and is clean. Both chairs have in the room has low back so very uncomfortable. The front desk said he’ll give me a city view room in a way like he’s giving me a big favor, but it turned out a room right facing the high way which is very noisy.

Breakfast - fairly heavy music played way too loud in the restaurant. Not everyone likes that.
The on site shop near reception has high prices for the basics like water. Interesting that no complimentary bottled water is provided in room. That's below average for a hotel of this supposed quality standard.
