I would have given the hotel two stars but the staff were so kind. However the hotel was dirty, and many things were broken and poorly maintained. I had to refuse the first room because the air conditioner wasn’t working and there was a 2 inch hole in the wall where the unit covering for the AC had separated from the wall. There is a $25 charge for parking which is not advertised at time of booking and is exorbitant. However the staff were nice and the restaurant on property has good food.

Great little gem of a hotel! My sister and I brought our mother to UCLA, from Las Vegas, for a surgery. We just needed a place close by that was clean and convenient to rest between going back and forth from the hospital. What we found was a beautiful, meticulously, maintained, hotel with the most friendly, accommodating staff!! Mario, Manny and Armondo were particularly awesome!! Quick with the drinks and excellent food after a hard day. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and again… hopefully for a much happier reason next time. ;-)

This is the worst hotel in the area. It is very old and all the amenities are outdated. The staff was not very helpful. I have breakfast with my reservation but the receptionist refused to give me the breakfast voucher two days in a row even though I show them the reservation details. The staff is rude too. When I’m asking them what I should be doing and they just responded they will have to wait for the manager to come. But the manager never came.

Here's my honest-to-goodness review of this place: PROS: (1) Close to key places like the LAX, Westfield Mall and easy access to the 405 (2) More than adequate parking spaces (3) Short walk from the parking to the hotel entrance lobby (4) Clean lobby and restaurant/breakfast area (5) Computer workstations in the lobby with adequate power ports (6) Well-lit lobby with clean and modern-looking furnitures (7) Decent-sized bar for late night relaxation (8) Even though the hotel is close to the 405, the rooms are well (sound) insulated from the busy highway CONS: (1) Stone-faced reception crew - Now, I've been to many hotels and many times you can tell if the smile isn't honest enough but if you are to work on the reception desk, it's always a good practice to smile when you welcome guests. Does not cost anything but is a big reflection of the morale of the folks working in the hotel. (2) Ordinary rooms - nothing exceptional about the room, ordinary bed, ordinary carpeting, ordnary bathroom, etc. (3) Outdated carpeting - The carpets in the room and the hallways are dark, looks dirty (though its not), and outdated and seems to make the room and hallways dark. (4) Room looks dark even with adequate lighting - as mentioned above, this could be because of the carpeting (5) Weird Room layout - big closet seems to block the flat TV and the lighting. The small sofa set is tucked in a narrow space close to the AC and window. (6) Room Reception Area - Inadequate lighting where the coffee machine, fridge and safety lockbox are. This should be well-lit since the whole-body mirror is placed here. (7) Ice Maker - Non-operational on the floor we stayed at and had to go to the next floor, where it was "barely" working. Old ice making machines, very old and bulky. (8) No Room Cleaning During Stay - Thought this was unique to us but saw other reviews where they complained about their room not being cleaned during their stay. Hope the pros and cons listed above (as well as the pictures attached) will help you decide whether this is a place you'd want to stay at. Will I come back here again? Yes specially if the rates are reasonable. Pretty sure they will continue to improve the place. Will they smile when we come back, we hope so.

Nice and Clean . Front Desk Staff , Great! Easy in and Out. Parking per sign $25.00. I got validation ,so Free. I attended an antique show.. Had old coins ,etc.. Can't take them with you 🙄! Sold them ! I got $85.00 . So what.. Dust collectors... Nice event and I think their lobby and breakfast area ,Looked very , Pleasant! Don
