Beautiful drive down to the property, and a very friendly check- in where guests were offered wine while waiting, strangers chatted and the vibe was happy. We opted for a contemporary room and loved the warmth and quiet. Very comfortable space, the amenities were on point, we felt relaxed and welcomed. Absolutely the best coffee I've ever had in my room. Room service was surprisingly prompt and upbeat. Our room service experience was all about hot delicious fare, completely beyond our expectations. Fantastic cocktails! Best nights sleep in a hotel in years. Absolute best views of the Golden Gate and hikes without compare. We'll be back!

I had a wonderful stay at Cavallo Point! The location is stunning, and the pet-friendly policy made it easy to bring my dog along. A special shoutout to Spencer at the front desk—his friendly assistance and local knowledge truly made our experience seamless. Thank you for a memorable stay! My only piece of feedback is that you make it more clear to guests that all guests can use the pool but that it needs to be reserved in advance. Can’t wait to return!

I had a wonderful stay at Cavallo Point! The location is stunning, and the pet-friendly policy made it easy to bring my dog along. Is the most beautiful places I’ve stayed at. The view of the Golden Gate the biking and the electric bikes they let you use were and added plus so much fun and such beautiful terrain so much history to this hotel absolutely recommended I go back in a minute

We stayed here for 4 nights and would not choose to return again. We were really excited to come visit as my husband and I got engaged here many years ago and used to come to their restaurant.
The first night we arrived after dinner to a room that was close to 80F. They do not have AC in the rooms and it took opening all windows and running the fan the whole night to get to a comfortable temperature. The next day we raised the issue with the front desk and they had a portable AC unit sent over, it worked but was noisy.
We asked for a cot for our son, and they promptly sent over an air mattress. Halfway through the night the mattress was halfway deflated and we all lost a hour or two of sleep being up and down trying to fix it in the night.
When I stay in hotels I prefer not to have housekeeping come in, mainly because I don’t want to tidy up clothes, toiletries, etc. During our stay we kept the do not disturb sign up the whole time only to return from an outing to find the sign taken down and that someone had been in the room. All our clothes, toiletries including my purse had been moved around and “tidied up”. Out of the various things we that happened during our stay this was the worst mainly because not I feel a lack of trust in the establishment.

Cavallo Point Lodge. The staff is incredibly professional and accommodating, ensuring every event runs smoothly. The venue itself is stunning, providing a beautiful backdrop for our floral arrangements. Highly recommend!
