You can't go wrong with this place. Our server Jose is always very nice and friendly. The food is good and I love the environment as well. Great spot to take nice photos. Our dog likes this place as well. :)

The CARA HOTEL has an imposing entrance. We were invited to an 80th birthday party and only visited the lobby, patio, and restaurant.
A number of stairs lead to a small anteroom of the monochromatic hotel. On the left is an open room with a large imposing office style desk, which serves as the front desk of the boutique hotel.
An intimate, upscale store, just down the hall, is available to replenish your personal supplies.
In addition to the reflecting pools and the palm trees, the protected patio is elegantly planted with 100 year old olive trees. The furniture is comfortable.
The lobby's ADA compatible restrooms are gorgeous.

If you want to go to the bar or restaurant here and roll into bed late at night, then this is the place for you. Other than that I would not recommend it because the noise of everyone partying downstairs will just be annoying. They play loud music all hours (morning to night) so even with a balcony room with the doors closed, there is almost never any quiet. Also the person who checks you in walks you to your room because there is no elevator but that also means that there may be no one to meet you when you arrive. I had to wait 5-10 minutes and there is no sign to tell you if you are waiting in the right spot. However when the staff are around they are really great and well trained. Room service was quick even on Saturday night and the food was delicious.

What a great experience from start to finish! David the manager was excellent and went above and beyond for us. The service was exceptional. The drinks were so lovely— the extended stay is my suggestion. The Caesar salad was one of the best I’ve ever had. And don’t skip on the ceviche! The set up is also great! Chairs and tables are roomy and comfy and the tables feel intimate. Can’t wait to come back on my next visit!

Great hotel with great service. From start to finish, the staff was friendly, accommodating and kind! We stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed the experience. We had a balcony room and it was very clean. Highly recommend!
