It's such a beautiful place. My wife and I spent a couple of hours exploring and still need to come back to see the rest. It's a way bigger space than we realized, which was awesome. There are plenty of bathrooms and water stations as well as a good amount of shade and benches. It's really cool to see so many of our native plants and ecosystems. There was even a wedding taking place when we visited today. They have the garden broken down into categories of natural ecosystems, and the bird and butterfly garden were my wife's favorites. Can't wait to come back!

The California Botanic Garden was a beautiful getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. Each section teaches visitors about the different types of plants and trees found in the region. The garden is organized by plant categories, which helps visitors visualize how they may see some of the plants in the wild. The trails were well maintained too. While we visited, several weddings were happening at the same time, so it seems like this could be a beautiful and unique wedding venue as well!

Great place to visit. There is a variety of native plants, flowers, and trees. The admission is $10.00 for an adult. Parking is free. They have an outside gift shop. There is a lot to see, so come prepared. Wear comfortable clothing, a hat, and bring water. There are facility restrooms on site.

$10 entrance fee per adult, $6 Sr. & student, $4 child, free parking. # different areas to explore: SoCal Garden is flat, paved, easy walk north from the entrance. Mesa Garden up the hill from the entrance with a turtle pond, reflecting pond, Sage Gallery and garden, Butterfly garden and others. CA plant communities garden with Chaparral, Channel Islands, Juniper Woodland, Oak garden, and others with paved road and separate trail running all of these. I went to a local Native Plant Nursery after this to get the plants I fell in love with.

I loved every second of it! A true nature walk, the sun, noises of the animals, and the scenery of the plants and view are truly beautiful! It also smells so amazing! They also offer a membership, which I highly recommend getting!! ##CometoCalifornia ##comevisitus
