We thought this was a really fun place. Some great looking cars, some not so much, but it depends on what you like and what is a classic in your mind. They even took us for a drive in a few of the cars. That was fun and the weather was perfect for the convertibles. We'll be back some day.

Definitely worth visiting!
Very reasonable admission price $15 adult, $8 children.
You can choose to have a tour guide or self guide. We choose a guide and learned so much, he was so kind and spent a lot of time answering our questions.
Beautiful cars on display and fun to learn how the automobile industry has changed over the years.
Highly recommend!

Decent number of well-preserved cars. Unique from other museums in that you can enter some of the cars, which is super cool. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Super neat place with a variety of cars. Museum is setup in a chronological order to help you see the progression of things through the years. There are a lot of early Fords and some other manufacturers that have been long gone. Most of the cars are in great condition. The only thing that could make this place cooler would be a few more muscle cars and maybe some additional Japanese cars from the 70s or early 80s.

We went to Old Sacramento on Memorial Day to check out the car show at the California Automobile Museum and we had a wonderful time. We could only stay a short time as we had some other commitments, but we highly recommend a trip to this beautiful museum. We especially enjoyed the very unusual 1953 Pontiac/ Chevrolet with a license plate that read, "Which Way."
