Apr 5, 2025 As an older individual, I have been fortunate enough to visit Calico several times over the years. I brought the grandchildren for a visit, and we had a wonderful time. I think we did everything. Now, each of them have their own gold panning souvenir! I'm so thankful that Calico Ghost Town is still there. Thanks to all the staff who made the experience even better!

Apr 8, 2025 This is such a lovely place ! I only stayed for around 30 minutes but could have stayed all day and camped if I had the time ! The one thing that let this down was that the sweet shop sold Starbucks coffee, such a shame when everything else was so quaint, and a new tea/coffee shop had just opened with a variety of independent coffee beans on sale. Otherwise this park was spot on and even offers little train rides.

Mar 12, 2025 I like the place. It has some interesting history. Good place to visit if you want to learn about the little town and the people who once lived and worked up here. The place also has a campground for camping besides the Ghost town. They have cabins and public restrooms with showers as well. They also have trails for 4 wheel drive like atvs and dirt bikes. I heard you can also shoot firearms as well. The place is open from 9am to 5pm. They have shops and restaurants inside. Nice place to visit. I recommend it for travelers and road trips. 😊

Feb 26, 2025 Calico Ghost Town is a wonderful place to visit for the entire family. It has a rich history of silver mining, rebuilt stores from 3 fires, five original buildings remain from 1890's, Calico restaurant, and yes, ghost stories and sightings! Hiking trails abound, hilltop view point, real train ride, fool gold panning, candy shop, and quite a few gift shops！Ghist tours at night, mining tours during the day are options as well. The Calico Outdoor Camp Ground is right next to Ghost Town, which is a great experience on its own！

Mar 16, 2025 A place that for a short while will take you to the past. Reconstructed building and layout of mining towns will let you imagines how life was ~300 years ago. There are several shop with souvenirs, candles, candies. I think there is a possibility to raid an old mining train, but was too late to check it. The admission is around 8$ per car. There is a camping ground. Always check the weather and conditions before you go as this is a desert. On The Last note many thanks to friendly Ranger for support.
