This review is dated for 11-21-2020. This golf course is extremely fun to play. Every hole is dramatically different from the next. Many elevation changes. Plenty of room for error off the tee box, however good scoring will be dependent of your short game on this course because the greens are firm and fast. Some of my favorite greens I've played. Course was in amazing condition.

Had a bridal shower there. the coordinator was extremely rude. Yelled during the party at the DJ and threatened to call the cops. Destroyed my daughter’s bridal shower. Angie who is the food and beverage director believed every lie her coordinator said. They promised things that were not delivered. The worst place to have an event at

I played Calabasas CC today, August 8, 2024. I could not get over the terrible shape the golf course was in. Due to overseeding the fairways burn out at the end of August into September. This time the course must have started turning in July because the conditions now are awful. It is clear that the owner, Gene Axelrod, is putting virtually no money into the course despite raising dues on a regular basis.
There are dead leaves covering all the cart pathways, as well as the surrounding areas to the fairways. The hills that border the holes are also covered in old dead leaves with some dead plants thrown in as well. The ponds and creeks are full of moss and and look dirty. Some of them have odors as well.
Hole #12, a par three, looks like a warzone. There is no grass by the creek that is in front of the green and the beige dirt is about 10 yards wide and stretches from one side of what was once a fairway, to the other side.
I was a member at Calabasas for twenty years and left because I was not happy with the course conditions. I never imagined they would get this awful.
