Wine lovers out there you need to come and visit this nice Winery. I know it's off the beaten path in Livermore but it's really well worth the drive. Come out and enjoy some great wines, amazing atmosphere and great friends. Also don't forget to say hi to tripod she's one of the family dogs.

Stumbled across this place while driving through and so glad we did!! A cute little place with lots of charm. Had two cute dogs to greet us as we came in and the owner was so knowledgeable and kind! Told us the history of the place and his family, and talked through every wine we tried. Great prices and fantastic wine!! A must try if in the area!

Stumbled across this place while driving through and so glad we did!! A cute little place with lots of charm. Had two cute dogs to greet us as we came in and the owner was so knowledgeable and kind! Told us the history of the place and his family, and talked through every wine we tried. Great prices and fantastic wine!! A must try if in the area!

Rustic look and relaxing atmosphere. We felt like we were hanging out in our friends backyard. We didn't do tasting, it was $20 for nine samples of wine. Instead, we bought a bottle of their Petite Sirah and brought our own snacks.

Boa Ventura is such a charming winery, where the owners minimize the typical pretentiousness associated with wineries while maximizing the character of their property and the quality of their wine!
We spent the afternoon enjoying their hospitality and a bottle of their red blend “tri-pawd” around the firepit.
We had planned to visit another winery today but chose to instead extend our visit at Boa Ventura, our new favorite winery!

Be sure to check their website - only open certain days of the month. Nearly all red wines. Mostly cabs. Family owned and operated since planting the vines in 2000. Kid friendly as well.
