Some good scenic holes, but unfortunately the beauty ends right at there. The fairway condition was awful, hardly any manicured grass. Greens were bumpy and not groomed, and it was hard to get an idea of how it was going to roll. The most pitiful part was that it was very difficult to nail a tee in the teeing area. If that tells something about the condition of this golf course.
One positive I take from this day was that I had a good workout from walking up and down the hill.

Being from out of town, I was looking forward to this beautiful course (as shown online). The course itself seemed decent but it could really use a few ball washers, trash cans & places to discard broken tees. The electric lines are a buzz kill & I do not remember those in the online videos. The course seemed to zig zag underneath them. The back 9 was crowded. Close quarters between holes. I was disappointed in the cart which was dirty & had no amenities. Would it be so hard to have a cooler? The last course I played even put ice in it for us! The customer service of the guy checking us in could have cared less about us. I was prepared for a slow pace of play after seeing the reviews but being backed up made 18 holes 5 hrs & 20 min which I see is pretty average for this course. The best part of the day was the 2 we were paired with... Ron & Paul, you made our day great! Thx! Unfortunately, I will not return to this course. There are so many better choices out there.

The course is in great condition throughout. The greens play true, but not super fast. It has been many, many years since I was a semi-regular patron at Anaheim Hills, and the course has held up well. Arbitrary regulations have kept the divot mix containers off the carts, but now that the CDC has clarified that the virus does not live on surfaces and is not spread by surface contact, maybe we can get some divots fixed, some ball washers, and rakes back where they belong. Look forward to having Anaheim Hills back in the rotation.

Yep 5 Stars for an old buddy I haven’t played in 30 years. Played last here back in the 80’s before I moved away. One thing about this course no two holes are even close to being similar. Downhill, uphill, dogleg lefts, doglegs right, straight, risk/reward holes. It’s all here for the taking. The conditions are good for what little water SoCal has. Definitely a good track for the variety. Pace of play was good for Tuesday mid morning. Just a tick over 4hrs. It was fun seeing on old friend again. Thanks

A below average golf course that is great for a casual player. The course is only 6,100 yards, but after playing, it feels like less.
There is no marshall or starter so be prepared for a long day. The tee boxes are far apart, which makes makes walking not an option. Many holes you are hitting under massive power lines which create this obnoxious buzzing sound.
The course has a nice hitting, putting, and chipping area. Range balls unfortunately only fly about 70%. Come here to practice but look elsewhere for your weekend round.
Looking at the other reviews from 5 years ago it is truly hard to imagine the course ever looked liked that. It did not look even remotely like that currently.
