Oct 4, 2022 I loved staying at this hotel! It has everything you need and close to anything else you might want. The bed was extremely comfortable, great room layout. There was virtually no sound from other guests outside your room or the traffic below. Upstairs is the cutest rooftop pool, bar, and seating areas with great food and drinks. At night the rooftop is a hot spot to be and was so fun! The aesthetic and everything about this hotel was lovely. Highly recommend!

Oct 10, 2022 My partner and I visited in July from Australia and this has to be one of the most unique hotels we've stayed in. The layout and design of the room we stayed in was really nice. The shower is open to viewing from the bed (heads up if you're not a couple etc) but I loved that the bed was close to the ground and against the wall at the foot and the TV was on the wall in front of us. Definitely recommend

Sep 22, 2022 I really loved my stay here. I can't stop thinking about it! I love the whole vibe of the hotel, it's very unique and the nods to Hollywood/LA history are subtle and very interesting. I loved the industrial yet classy style of the room, it was different from any hotel I've ever stayed in. I chose this place because I was seeing a show in the theatre, which I also highly recommend. It's a beautiful space for any show. The area of DTLA isn't the nicest or safest, I wouldn't have gone walking around at night by myself but that really goes for any city area. The hotel itself feels very safe and secure though so I would have no qualms about staying there again and hope I get that opportunity. The coffee shop downstairs is great, also had a burger from the restaurant which was very good as well. All very nice people working everywhere... as an east coaster people say things about LA but I experienced only helpful and personable people here.

Jul 28, 2022 It was cool to stay in a historic hotel and the rooms were pretty interesting, and the bed was comfy. The customer service, however, was horrible. My coworker and I stayed for one night and had requested an early check-in. I ended up waiting four and a half hours for my room to be "cleaned," which is just absurd, while my coworker was given a room right away. Because this was a business trip and the room had been reserved on a company card, I politely asked to speak with the manager to get clarification because I ended up having to charge the room on my personal card. The front desk staff member rudely said "My COWORKER is right here." So I didn't even get to speak with the person in charge, and both of them ended up being really unnecessarily rude. The rest of the day (while I waited almost 5 hours for my room to be "ready"), whenever we passed the concierge, they glared at us. I called the front desk after two hours of waiting for my room to be ready, and was treated like a Karen when I politely asked for an update on the room. Two more hours passed, and I went down to the front desk to again ask about the room. I was met with a glare and complete rudeness from the staff member yet again. Even when we checked out, they were pretty abrupt and rude. It seems like they staff this place with people who hate people, unfortunately.

Oct 7, 2022 I stayed here for my wedding and had a TON of fun. The front desk was very helpful in getting everyone up to my room. The suite had a ton of space for all my girlfriends! And it was really the most beautiful spot to take photos in my wedding dress. I just recommend bringing additional light because the room was dim.
The morning after my wedding, I invited everyone up to the roof top pool and it was a BLAST. I didn't have to plan anything, we just hung out at the pool and friends could order food and drinks as they pleased. Made our weekend so much easier :)
